We want to reassure you that since discovering the Apache Log4J vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) on December 10th, 2021, the PayU Engineering and Security teams have worked diligently to ensure our systems are fortified and unaffected by it. We have successfully identified all applications using Log4J and applied the recommended mitigations and updates accordingly. Additionally, we took a few extra precautionary steps —recommended by the different CERTs — in which we deployed WAF(Website Application Firewall ) rules and a variety of additional alerts.
